Subscribe using Email

1. With the preferred e-mail address, send an e-mail to: LISTSERV@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU
2. Leave the subject line blank (America Online members: use a * in the subject line) In the body of the message, type this line exactly, without additional characters: SUB ASACC-L firstname lastname
3. Replace "firstname" and "lastname" with your name.
4. Send the message.
5. You will receive an automatic message asking for confirmation.
6. Use the "reply" function of your e-mail, and type "ok"(no quotes, no extra characters) on the first line of the message.
7. Send the message back.
8. You will then receive an automatic message stating that "You are now subscribed to ASACC-L."
9. Note: If you wish to leave the discussion list, you simply send the command SIGNOFF ASACC-L to the E-mail address: LISTSERV@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU.
10. Do not send any other E-mail to the LISTSERV@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU account as it will get misdirected and not reach the intended recipient.

Subscribe/Unsubscribe Online

Go to http://vm.uconn.edu/subunsub.html

To subscribe:

• Complete the section under "SUBSCRIBE." enter ASACC-L in the "List name" field. Then click on subscribe. If you do not type in the list name, you will not be added to our mailing list.

To unsubscribe:

• Complete the section under "SIGN-OFF." Be sure to type in the correct list name and e-mail address that is subscribed to that list.

Subscribe/Unsubscribe Using the Mainframe

To subscribe to a list, send the SUBSCRIBE (or SUB) command to LISTSERV. From CMS, this can be done as follows:

1. TELL LISTSERV SUB ASACC-L firstname lastname
2. Replace "firstname" and "lastname" with your name.
